Katrien's background in car upholstery and Alan's decades running surf shops led to the cover that had been attempted before, but never truly perfected. A genuinely waterproof, stylish seat cover built for people who surf, van, and adventure daily.

Since 2021, CULT has grown from a single design to a full range, and yes, others have tried to copy us. They can copy the shape. They can't copy the story.

You call yourselves "the original". What does that actually mean?

We're not claiming to be the first. We're claiming to be the most authentic.
Katrien created the first CULT seat cover while living in her van on the Canarian coast. She built it because she couldn't find a cover that matched the way she actually lived, so she made one herself.
Since then, other brands have released products that look remarkably similar to ours. That's why we've started telling our story more openly. We've been doing this from the beginning, driven by real experience rather than trends, and that hasn't changed.
Can I wash the seat covers?

Yes. Wash at 30–40°C, close all Velcro, and let them air dry. No tumble drying to keep the waterproofing intact.

Are the covers easy to install & remove?

Yes. You can put them on in a few minutes and take them off just as easily when needed.
