CULT seat covers combine durable, waterproof materials with a design inspired by travel, surf culture, and life on the road. CULT is a collaboration between Belgian designer Katrien Hertogs, known for her work in car upholstery and Fashion, and Alan Maddock, a surf shop owner and distributor. Together, they bring a passion for both adventure and craftsmanship to the brand.

All CULT seat covers are made from waterproof Oxford 600D polyester, purpose-built for outdoor use. The fabric has a 5000 mm hydrostatic coating that blocks water, mud, salt, and spills without using PVC or PU backing. Because we skip those plastic layers, the material stays breathable, and each model uses either a non-woven backing or an anti-slip layer to help the cover stay in place.

Yes. CULT seat covers are waterproof and designed to wipe clean after daily use. For a deeper clean, just wash on a cold 30–40 °C programme with the Velcro closed. Always air-dry to protect the waterproof coating and keep them performing for years.

Waterproof fabrics can feel a bit sweatier than normal cloth seats, because sweat doesn’t soak into the surface. But since we don’t use PVC or PU backing, our material stays more breathable and softer than typical waterproof covers, a comfortable in-between. Mostly, yes. CULT covers use a universal fit for vans and cars, but each model is tailored to a specific seat type (single front, double bench, car rear seat, California bench, etc.). As long as the seat type matches your model, the cover sits comfortably and stays in place during daily use, even on different vehicle brands.
